This summer Price, 57, plans to continue on a journey to prove just that as he joins an expedition to Mount Ararat. His team believes that it is there, in Eastern Turkey, where Noah’s Ark remains preserved underneath layers of rubble and ice.
“There’s a whole trail of history pointing to it [Mt. Ararat],” Price said [...]
More than half of UK adults feel ill-equipped to handle their finances, new research commissioned by Christians Against Poverty has revealed.
The YouGov poll of more than 2,000 adults also revealed that younger generations are the least prepared to cope with the effect of the credit crunch.
Women, meanwhile, are more likely to feel they have not [...]
January I caught a post on the Logos newsgroups introducing me to the ESV Literary Study Bible. And I just caught it again at Mark Bertrands Bible Design Blog. My first thought was that it would serve me no purpose. My second thought was to remember that the number of literary allusions to the scriptures [...]
Little green men might shock the secular public. But the Catholic Church would welcome them as brothers.
That’s what Vatican chief astronomer and papal science adviser Gabriel Funes explained in a recent article in L’Osservatore Romano, the newsletter of the Vatican Observatory (translated here). His conclusion might surprise nonbelievers. After all, isn’t this the same church [...]

Another book I picked up and had a great time reading was “Love Jesus, Hate Church” by Steve McCranie. It really makes one analyse the church and re-think your own relationship with Jesus. It helps get your priorities straight.
The author has a website: www.lovejesushatechurch.com
Steve also does a podcast: www.lovejesushatechurch.com/thepodcast/
I’m a part of the fellowship of the unashamed. The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made.
I am a disciple of Jesus.
I won’t look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, and my future is secure. [...]
